710IT provides implementation, integration, configuration, and ongoing support services for third-party software and hardware platforms used by cannabis operators. 710IT may also procure or resell third-party platforms and hardware on behalf of clients as a reseller or referral partner of the platform vendor.

710IT does not develop, author, license as publisher, host, or operate any cannabis-tracking, seed-to-sale, point-of-sale, cultivation monitoring, payment processing, or logistics software. 710IT does not handle, process, transport, or take custody of cannabis products. Product-level defects and platform-side issues are escalated to the platform vendor for resolution.

What 710IT delivers

710IT operates as a managed services provider (MSP) and managed security services provider (MSSP) for cannabis businesses. Our services parallel what any enterprise IT partner delivers — applied with cannabis-industry context. Specifically:

  • Managed IT services — 24/7 help desk, endpoint management, patch management, Microsoft 365 administration, network monitoring, hardware procurement and lifecycle support.
  • Cybersecurity — Endpoint detection and response (EDR), email and DNS filtering, security awareness training, vulnerability management, incident response coordination, alignment with NIST CSF 2.0.
  • Private cloud hosting — Tier III-class California datacenter hosting for general business workloads (file servers, virtual desktops, Microsoft 365, backups, email, internal applications). We do not host cannabis-tracking or seed-to-sale software on our infrastructure.
  • Technology platform integration and support — Implementation, configuration, network integration, and ongoing support for third-party platforms our clients use (POS, surveillance, IoT environmental monitoring, digital signage, payment processing, delivery dispatch, loyalty, e-commerce).
  • Hardware procurement and resale — Procurement, deployment, and lifecycle support for IT hardware (networking equipment, workstations, label printers, surveillance cameras, IoT devices). We may resell third-party platforms and devices as a reseller or referral partner.

What 710IT does not do

To be explicit about the scope boundary:

  • 710IT does not develop, author, or publish any software — including cannabis-tracking, seed-to-sale, POS, cultivation monitoring, payment processing, label generation, delivery routing, or loyalty platforms.
  • 710IT does not host, operate, or run any cannabis-tracking, seed-to-sale, POS, cultivation, payment, or logistics software on its private cloud infrastructure. All such platforms used by our clients are vendor-hosted SaaS or vendor-operated systems.
  • 710IT does not handle, process, transport, weigh, package, or take custody of any cannabis product at any point in any process.
  • 710IT does not generate, author, or take responsibility for regulated cannabis content — including but not limited to product labels, METRC tag data, batch records, chain-of-custody documentation, lab certificates of analysis, or compliance filings. The platforms our clients use generate this content; the platform vendors are responsible for its accuracy and regulatory conformance.
  • 710IT does not provide legal, regulatory, or compliance advice. We support the IT infrastructure that helps operators meet their compliance obligations, but compliance determinations remain with the operator and their legal counsel.

Platform-side issues and escalation

When a third-party platform our client uses has a product-level defect, software bug, data inconsistency, regulatory reporting failure, or any other vendor-side issue, 710IT escalates the issue to the platform vendor's support team and coordinates resolution on behalf of the client. We do not modify, patch, or work around the vendor's software. The vendor owns the product; we own the relationship management and the IT environment around it.

This model mirrors how any enterprise MSP supports vertical-specific software for its clients — for example, an MSP supporting a dental practice administers the network, endpoints, backups, and integrations, while the practice management software (e.g., Dentrix) is the responsibility of its vendor. 710IT applies the same model to cannabis operators using Dutchie, Treez, Cova, Flowhub, BLAZE, METRC, Onfleet, TrolMaster, Argus, Pulse, CanPay, Aeropay, Springbig, Alpine IQ, and similar third-party platforms.
